Buffalo Dollars
Buffalo Dollars made by US Mint have two variations: the old and the new. Old Buffalo Dollars are minted from 1913 up to 1938. Coins minted from these years are known as the Indian Head or buffalo coins designed by James Earle Fraser a sculptor. In the Old Buffalo Dollars designs, Fraser incorporate Native Americans portraits on the obverse while an animal portrait of buffalo on the reverse.
Due to the low quality of Old Buffalo Dollars that some are easily wear off especially the dates, collectors find it valueless though it`s still a nice addition in your collection and as a souvenir. Finding Indian Head nickel today is hard with the ratio of 1 is to 25,000 meaning there is only one Indian Head in every 25,000 nickels. The 2006 Gold Buffalo Dollars have a $50 face value and followed by the 2007and 2008 Gold Buffalo Dollars.

The proof of this is the Uncirculated 2001 American Buffalo Silver Dollar that was sold out within 2 weeks after the released. The 2001 Silver Buffalo Dollars also served as a Commemorative Buffalo Dollars are made with 90 percent silver and have D mint marks.
